  • Render Crashing due to Open GL?!?!

Yesterday my computer was working 100% fine. I’d be able to export from my AFX files with no problems. Today, I made a few minor changes to my composition (unfortunately can’t remember what they were). But now it keeps crashing when I export. I get 2 error messages:
    1) due to Knoll Light Factory LE
    2) due to Rendering Plugin Open GL
It ussed to crash always at a specific point. When I viewed my composition in AE and went to that specific point, my AE would crash. But recently it stopped doing that (!!!!). Anybody have any idea what’s going on?

    Hello,

I had random crashs with erros using the Open GL when I was using the 3d camera in After Effects under Open GL when things got abit complex and high cpu usage. i switchd OPEn GL off in my compositions prefs and used Advanced 3d renderer and now seems fine.

Please try to enable Advanced 3d and see if it helps?

    Warm Regards,
