  Gradient ramp & graph editor issues

  Hey,

  I’m using gradient ramps on shape layers, and want to match my easing on the shape keyframes on my gradient ramp keyframes (editing the Start & End of ramp)

  I can apply Easy Ease but there’s no way to edit them further, and I can’t separate the dimensions of the Start & End of ramps either, which sometimes reveals the anchor point handles.

  Am I missing something or is it not possible to custom ease gradient ramp keyframes? If there isn’t, is there a plugin that will give me more control?

  Hi Katie,

  You can separate the dimensions with expressions. ALT click on the stopwatch for the Start of the gradient and then use:

  X = value[0];
  Y = value[1];
  [X,Y]

  You can then replace value[0] with whatever you want, including pickwhipping to the shape keyframe and leave Y as its original value.
