  Resolve Render Templates = Sharable?

  Hi!

  I have a fairly complex render template which I often need to share. Does anyone know if these render template files are accessible or sharable?

  When you say “sharing”, do you mean between 2 different computer systems or 2 different projects on the same computer?

  I believe at this point there is no easy way to export a preset and re-import it. It might be possible thru scripting. With version 17, It might be worth it to try exporting/archiving a project (.drp or .dra) and see if these custom settings are saved with a particular project?… but I doubt it… let us know…

  Copy – thanks David. I’ve actually been able to do it in the past with python by manually setting each and every variable within a script. But that’s a pretty obnoxious way to do it by comparison to something like Adobe’s .epr files (render preset files) Because it’s complicated to write scripts, and most recipients won’t have the patience to run the script properly.

  Will let you know if I find any secrets!
