  New to Resolve 16

  I am just learnig R16, and have a multitrack test I’m trying. I have followed a couple of YT videos thru opening and creating a Multitrack file, and have a split screen set up in the edit interface. But even after highlighting the Multitrack icon, I can’t see anything but empty frames in the edit window. The tracks are in the timeline, but I want to cut them easily as they display in the edit window above it.

  What am I doing wrong?

  I am using 7 video tracks — could that be too much for my system? I can see the track numbers in the edit window but the frames are black.

  What do you mean by “multi track”?

  Are you talking about multi camera editing? if so I would recommend you read chapter 32, p666, in order to understand how to create and edit multicam clips in Resolve 16.
