  • Masking points on keyframes do not stay where I set them.

I’m new to AE, and I thought an easy exercise would be to do a simple light saber effect. However, it seems after I went through and masked off all the areas, when I went back to check it, many of the mask points had moved from my original position. So, my question is, have I accidentally turned something on/off, or do I need to set something in AE so the points don’t move?
    Thanks in advance from Hawaii.

Hi. I’m not clear exactly what you are doing but you need to key-frame the “Mask Path” if the mask moves or changes shape during the clip.
