  Painterly write on effect for text and lettering

  Hey Everyone,

  Just wondering if anyone would have an idea of how to make a text reveal similar to this…

  I found a tutorial which may help me out using Trapcode 3d stroke and Particular but wanted to see if anyone has any other tricks up their sleeves for achieving this effect . Since I don’t have trap code yet, something a little less expensive would be ideal.

  Not totally sure why they don’t work. If you copy and paste them into a browser they should work. Sorry about that.

  Another way that’s a little more fun, is to hand animate it in Photoshop (if you have a tablet) on a blank video layer. Look up a tutorial for cel animation in Photoshop. It can be pretty easy, but a little bit time consuming. I might do one at some point.
