  Instagram Glitch

  Hi everyone! I’m having an issue uploading a video to instagram and I’m convinced that it has to do with the way they compress their videos, as it’s not appearing on any other platform it’s uploaded to. But I’m wondering if anyone has any idea what I might be able to do in my export settings to fix the problem.

  The Problem:

  There are a few pixels high hiccup at the bottom of the screen that sporadically appears throughout the video. I’ve uploaded a screen recording below.

  The Troubleshoot (so far):

  So I’ve exported in h.264, .mov. Maximum specs, minimum specs, I’ve exported at a super high res, then re exported in IG recommended specs. And it’s appeared in every iteration.

  If anyone has the knowledge I’m lacking I’d very much appreciate the assist on this.

  I’ve had problems with Instagram video myself. (Not sure if it’s connected, but I’m on my iPad right now and choppy your video wouldn’t play for me). I’ve given up trying to upload videos from my PC – Insta is very device focussed, so I get the videos onto my phone and post from there.
