  After Effects – Camera – Pan Under tool glitching – 3 Button mouse

  Hi there you smart folks.
  I have had a persistent issue with the AE camera pan under tool when using the 3 button mouse control for the camera.
  The orbit and dolly functions work fine, but when I press and move the scroll wheel to move the camera in X and Y it jumps all over the place.
  This is the case with both a Logitech G502 hero and another “generic” microsoft mouse.
  Yes I’m aware I can cycle through the camera controls and use the primary mouse button. I know I can also adjust the x/y position on the camera layer.
  I just find the 3-button camera control the most convenient.

  Using:

  AE 17.5.1 (build 47)

  MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)

  Mac OS Catalina

  10.15.7 (19H15)

  2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7

  16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4

  AMD Radeon Pro 5300M 4 GB

  Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB
