  CAPS LOCK whilst using RAM preview

  In cc2014 I would often ram render a few individual frames throughout my composition by clicking with the time indicator. I would then press caps lock and then preview my comp. The preview would play the audio and update the display only when it encountered the previously rendered frames. This way I could hear the audio and watch the critical changes at key points without needing to render everything.

  Now, in 2015, the caps lock is over-ruled when I preview, the whole comp starts to stutter and slow down as it tries to render the frames and I have to wait for the second pass.

  I have audio-only preview but that doesn’t play the already rendered frames.

  In some ways, preview is better now, but I miss that old functionality. Is there another way to achieve this or can Adobe make caps lock function with preview as an option?
