Absolutely no audio
I cannot get the audio in Premiere to play, no matter what I do.
There is no audio output in either the timeline/sequence or source panels.
I’ve reset prefs, Ive restarted both PP and comp, I’ve messed with every configuration of the audio hardware, I’ve cleaned the cache.
Im fairly new to premiere though have loads of experience with other adobe programs. The audio plays fine everywhere else on the computer, just nothing in premiere what so ever. There are the coloured audio bars there to symbolise that there is audio levels, and that the sound it playing but there just isn’t any physical output.
Mac OS. Premiere Pro 2019 (v13.1.5)
Please help me, its driving me mad as it worked fine yesterday.

What audio sample rate are your clips? What about Premiere audio settings? They need to match, typically 48khz.
Check where your audio is being played. In my case it plays to my monitor via HDMI then optical out to my receiver.
Make sure you haven’t Solo or Muted any audio tracks in your timeline. You’ll see the icon highlighted to left of track

No luck I’m afraid. My sample rates match. I’m playing through speakers which are connected to headphones. Nothing muted or solo

I just had this happen to me…go to preferences and Playback and make sure audio is Adobe Desktop Audio. Not sure why it changes but mine did too!

It was driving me up the wall. I can’t believe I didn’t change that one setting, i messed with all the other ones
