NOOB- trying to transfer layers from procreate to after effects
I hope noobs are ok on this forum, I am in my first after effects week, I have been looking but haven’t found the answer to this yet.
The question is I am drawing on procreate multi layer characters. I have made each layer so it’s sitting on top of the layer I want it sitting on top of so each section of arm, leg, torso and head are in pieces that I would be able to (hopefully) rig somehow once I get it into after effects. I import the psd file it jumbles the layer order. I then tried to put all the layers into one group and imported that and it seems to have come in as one image without layers.
I am guessing, well I am hoping that there is a really easy button or thing in a menu I am not pushing.

New questions are welcomed! There’s even a way to tag your posts with the fact that it’s a “Basic” question, I believe.
Anyway, integrating Procreate with AE doesn’t really count as a newbie question in my book. 😀
I don’t have the ability to see YouTube from the computer I’m currently at, but does this link help?
If nothing else, you could export each layer individually, right?

Sorry, I wish I had replied right away and now I see that I didn’t. It worked really well, thanks so much for your help. I have that part of it and am about three steps later after all this time but I am zeroing in on being able to do this.
