  Cross dissolve creating strange blur

  Hey,

  I have forever had the issue that if I use cross dissolve to open or close an edit, or to fade scenes… I am (occasionally) left with a strange but familiar blur across the image. Is this an export setting? What is this thing? Any help would be much appreciated 🙂

  Is this an additive dissolve you’re applying, and what kind of “handles” are on the clips?

  Turn off Comp in Linear color in the sequence settings.
