    Hi All,

I have an issue at my work where our editors are using Flanders scientific monitors to colour correct and ensure that what we deliver for our channel is Broadcast safe.

The Flanders scientific monitors clearly show that something is outside the Broadcast safe margins in luminance by highlighting it red rather than green. Unfortuantely as we plan to move to Windows Virtual Desktop SDi is not supported rendering the Flanders Scientific monitors useless.

Is there a cost effective Monitor that supports HDMI that can be used that has this great feature or something similar? Can premiere scopes do he same function or is there a software that does?

    Thanks in advance
    Tom

The perimiere scopes are pretty hopeless for broadcast levels.

Maybe something like the Iris player

GrayMeta – Iris – Remote Content Playback, QC and Collaboration – https://www.graymeta.com/iris

Not sure if this works virtually.
