  merge multiple shots on the go

  Hi there,
  I wonder if anyone can advise?
  I used to film on mini DV editing on the go ie. each shot would be around 3 seconds long and at the end of shooting the production that day, the video was done.
  I’m trying to find a camera that will merge/stitch each clip together as i start and stop recording. ie. one file containing multiple shots from the camera, not using external software.
  Can anyone help?
