  The buttons are disappearing when I stop playing preview.

  Take a look at the screenshot. The first panel contains only 5 buttons. There are only 5 buttons when I set time marker close to the place where I stopped a video.

  Top screenshot is the reference monitor: hence difference in buttons.

  It’s the same panel on both screenshots.
  The difference is where timeline cursor is placed.
