    Hello,
I’m a newbie at Adobe Premiere Pro and I’m watching a lot of video regarding it but on my effect control panel, there is just “video” instead of “video effects”. Any help would really be appreciated. Haven’t been able to put transitions and effects because of that.

Standard video controls will show on all your video clips in your Effect Controls panel. You will need to add Effects for them to show on your video clip. Under the Window file menu, you should be able to see an option for “Effects”. Choose it and your Effects panel should open up. Add Audio/Video effects and transitions to the clips in your sequence as you like.
And keep watching those tutorials! You may want to try these: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfzAdXeniYhIGlFndHYPiYg/playlists?disable_polymer=1

    Good Luck!
