    Hello everyone,

I have a question which drives me to desperation.

In a video I have imported in After Effects there is an animation of text. This text changes its color throughout the video.
Now I want to equalize the color and brightness so that the whole text is completely white over a black background.

Is there an effect I can apply to the video to achieve that (like in Photoshop the Color overlay)? Or do I have to workaround to get it done?

    Many thanks in advance!

Hi. If your text has an alpha background create a white solid, place it under the text and set its Track Matte setting to Alpha (if you can’t see the TrkMat box on the layer press the Toggle Switches/Modes button at the bottom of the screen). If you have a solid black background add the Curves effect and drag the line so that it sits along the top of the box.
