I’m trying to develop a way to have a background text box appear with foreground text. If this is just a single line, it’s pretty easy. There are a few good ways to do this:

    https://www.motionboutique.com/textbox/

but I want to utilize a multiple lines using the range selector for opacity (per character).
When I try using the above methods, it doesn’t work. They’re seeing the data before the opacity reveal expression, and I just get one big text box. I’m just wondering if anyone has discovered a solution where it reads the data after the opacity expression.
I’m considering manually doing this, but it’s literally hundreds of lines of code, where having an automated solution is pretty essential.
The only other idea, is approaching this as “font based” solution, as suggested in above thread.
I might have to do it that way, but would like to avoid manually creating a couple hundred font square/rectangle elements.
    Thanks!
