  • Adding rotating text to rotating globe – cc sphere

    Hello all,

I have an AE 5.5 comp with a rotating globe (using cc sphere) that has a blue band that 1) rotates around the globe and 2) goes from top to bottom.
I want to add rotating text within the blue band so that it follows its rotation and movement.
    What would be the steps?
Do I need to create a separate com for the text and drop it inside the blue band pre-comp or
do I need to take the comp with new text and stack it on the main comp, then parent it to the blue band?

    Thank you very much!

It depends on the look you’re going for.

It seems like the easiest thing to do would be to put it in the blue band precomp.
