    Hi there,

I am first time poster here at CreativeCOW, I’ve used the vast knowledge of CreativeCOW users countless times to help me solve problems. The community of CC seems so supportive and helpful.

Currently working on my motion graphics and After Effects skills and am seeking some advice. I am creating an animated title and want to create a similar effect to the link below, similar to blue print plans of a building but based around the lines of text like SST.

My inspiration came from this section of the ad “Designed by Apple”

    Thank you in advance,

    R.

Create shape layers with the pen tool to make the straight lines, then add the trim paths animation to them. Duplicate your text layer and on the bottom text layer activate a stroke color and remove the fill color so you have just the outlined text. Finally, use the something similar to this handwriting technique to create the animation on each text layer; just reverse this technique and make it write off in a random order. Good luck!
