  How to fill a keyed subject with another layer.

  Hello,

  I’m trying to figure out how I can fill a keyed object with another layer. For instance I took a video of me against a greenscreen and I used Keylight 1.2 to make the back go black. Now I want an animated fractal layer to fill my silhouette. Does anyone know how to do that?

  I appreciate any tips!

  Use the keyed layer as an alpha matte (track matte) for the layer with the fractal effect.

  Well, that was easy! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. It did take me a few attempts but only because I didn’t read the instructions all the way. The key was that I had to put my keyed layer right above the fill layer. Once I did that kaboom… sweetness!
