    Hello,
I’m editing a homemade video in Final Cut Pro and in one part I have this still

I would like to get it like crossed by some black lines coming one at a time, resulting in something like this:

can you help me how to do this. I guess in Motion, or first Photoshop and then Motion. I’m not very skilled in those programs so I will have to explore, watch tutorials etc before getting what I’m looking for, but every piece of information on more or less which direction to take is very appreciated.
    Thanks a lot,
    Pablo H.

This is more of a general motion graphics and broadcast design forum. For advice specific to Motion, check out the Apple Motion forum [link] — I think it gets a bit more traffic from frequent contributors who are Motion users.

Motion come with a great paint tool that will let you create brush stokes just like in the picture. Add a Write on behavior and then it will right on. Hope this helps and best of luck.
