  Title effect sequence…

  Hello there!,

  I am asking for help on how to achieve the effect as seen at the end title sequence on Tropic Thunder…

  I would love to replicate something similar using motion 4 and Photoshop.

  Its a bit of a challenge but if anyone has tips/pointers or a tutorial I would be very grateful!!

  35 seconds is a guy crashing into a table.

  Perhaps you are referring to 41 seconds. In which case, I answered it here for AE, but the same concepts will probably apply to motion:

  After going on a voyage of self discovery I did it using FCP, CS4 and Motion 4 and the outcome was this:

  which, albeit is raw, is getting there…anyway, I posted the steps on the thread that cory initially referred me to in the previous post but will do a video tut at somepoint.

  You can improve it by scaling up the girl at a different rate from the background over the time she is frozen; I’d do it a little faster than you currently have. This was done on tropic thunder and gives more of a multi-layer rather than flat look.
