I would suggest using Camtasia Studio. I just started using it recently, and am impressed by it’s array of tools, from full editing capabilities, to tools to do callouts, automated animations for mouse clicks and the like, and the ability to do HD.

I don’t know what platform you’re on, but it just came out for the Mac at an introductory price of about 89 bucks. I paid over 200 for the PC version, but so far it’s been well worth it. I am currently creating software tutorials for an industrial manufacturing company, and it makes it really easy to zoom in on key areas of the screen as I work with the software, then output it to a variety of formats, from Flash to AVIs.

    Benjamin,
Cool example video. I love how they mix stuff up. Anyways…I use Snapz Pro and have created lots of tutorials with it. Here is an example: Creating a Hologram

All of the move where done in Motion with the Camera. If you want to do the Weight Watchers thing you will probably want to move the clips themselves or put the clips in groups and move the groups. You are going to have a lot of fun creating this project. By, the way, if you have not purchased Snapz Pro it has a 15 day free trial.

You may want to take a look at iShowU as well. There are even more screen grab software options if you want me to list them. Best of luck and have fun.

    This is all great information.

Could you or someone else contrast the pro’s and con’s of camtasia vs snapzpro. I am not necessarily creating training videos, more likely showcase videos that will show off the website so people sign up.

Thanks for all the great information.
