I think I would have lined up the band in a row at the bar and had each one hold just his own binder with an iso shot. With a little work, they could even pass objects “between” binders, like a beer mug or something.

Outputting the stills from a video timeline to a folder and printing it is not the hard part, timing and synching the time lapse or stop/mo part of the shoot is. A LOT. I erspect that part of the project the most, I think, Story-wise, the effect doesn’t really tell one and it doesn’t seem to relate to the song in any way, so I think they missed an oportunity there. But hey, jogging in place on treadmills worked for that other band, right?

The iphone parts did not move me, they just don’t “read” on the screen like paper does.
