  Recording multiple 1080i stream to KiPro Quad

  I was told by a AJA rep that it is possible to record 4 separate 1080i cameras to a KiPro Quad with same timecode and then crop them out in post as separate streams for use in a multicam. Can anyone confirm this, and maybe touch on the post process. I am looking for a very portable recorder to go with my Sony Anycast Touch, and PTZ cameras
