I searched the archive, but didn’t see an answers to this question.

I am running Windows 7 64-bit, PPro CS5.5, Ki Pro Mini (with newest firmware), and a Panasonic AF-100.

If I record a scene to the Ki Pro Mini, when I transfer the resulting file from the device using Ethernet, I get a file that is audio only in PPro. I have it set to capture in ProRes, and I don’t see any menu items I might have ticked in order to screw up the video. As for the menus in the AF-100, really the only option is to output over SDI, so I’m sure it is the Ki Pro Mini messing up.

I do not have a functional CF card reader, so I can’t rule out if it is a transport issue (though that seems the most unlikely).

Does anyone have an idea as to what is happening?

    Thanks,
    Scott R Tooley

Figured it out. When I upgraded our Dell Precision 690 to Windows 7, I never reinstalled Quicktime. This threw me for a loop at first, because I was under the impression that if Quicktime wasn’t installed, you wouldn’t be able to see or hear anything in a ProRes file.

But, apparently, you can still hear the audio but not play the video if Quicktime is missing.
