  Black Frames after Update

  I updated my Ki-Pro with the new firmware about a week after it came out and it seems to have developed an issue. I am seeing a dropout of several seconds of black on at least two different outputs every few minutes. It is definitely not the incoming signal, and I have yet to do a test recording to see if it appears there as well.

  Has anyone else experienced this since the upgrade?

  I have not, with many hours of recording since updating. Why don’t you do a test record and see if it is in the recording?

  Also, if your using SDI, check that the pins in the cameras SDI out have not been spread apart. this happened on one of my Sony NX5’s, the signal would drop out and had me thinking I had a serious hardware problem.
