Ki Pro powering itself down
Posted by Steve Culpepper on August 8, 2011 at 3:53 pmNot well versed with the ki pro yet and don’t have the manual on hand. Ki Pro will flash low battery then die while it is plugged in the wall. Where am I going wrong?
Thanks!

if your unit is using the Aja AC adapter, you need to call tech support to have a new brick sent out as a replacement.
if you are NOT using the Aja Power supply- chances are the unit you are using is not correctly rated for operation of the KiPro.

August 8, 2011 at 4:30 pmYou must test if your AJA ac adaptor is dropping out the 12v in constant and normal way. You must check you current wall outlet too (with a tester). In add, maybe your sine wave is not working properly; test your Ki Pro on another source or in other building.
I’d have the same issue when I was plugged on a generator truck with a long extension. My diagnose was current tension loose. Since I work with batteries, the issue never come back.
Best Regards.

Never a good excuse. If you have internet access, you have access to the manual.

August 9, 2011 at 9:58 pmI prefer get the manual on papper. Print as booklet and include it as a part of KiPro gear.
Anyway, did you perform the suggested tests? Any conclussion?
Best Regards
