  Stops Recording and video scratch

  Hai everyone,

  I got some problems in recording. I use Ki-Pro Proress 422HQ with 2 HDD (250GB and 500 GB). These unit attach with PMW-10MD Sony. It use for surgery recording.

  About one months ago (and now), i found some problems in recording. The ki-pro stops recording in the middle of the surgery. Its stops around 30 minutes, then i rec again but its stop after 10 seconds of the recording.

  Then i try to playback the clip, the result is i found some scratch or noise on the clip. I try to change between the 250 and 500, format every time but the result is still the same, its stops recording and found scratch on it.

  Please is any of friends how the same problem?
  Could you give or share the solution?

  Ok

  More info, How are you recording the signal?
  ( and please tell us that you are not trying to capture the DVI output as HDMI.)

  What kind of signal are you recording?
  How is the unit setup?
  What is the front of the KiPro say in the status menu when the signal drops- the unit should flash colors at you to indicate an issue.

  Have you checked the cables? noise in the signal usually means bad cabling.

  Sounds like the known issue where the Ki Pro stops recording after a bad frame. It is by design from what I heard but very annoying. The next firmware update should have it as a setting to keep recording or not. I’m waiting for it too

  sorry guy i just answered now.
  the problem is the hardware aja ki pro.
  so the dealer in my area take that for delivery to the USA for the repair of aja ki pro.
  know it’s ok.

  but a few months ago my ki pro stop recording again at the lcd front error gen lock.
  may be the firmware or the setting about recording?…..
