  Ki pro hdd won’t mount on mac

  Greetings experts. I have a Ki pro that works fine. But when I plug in the hdd via firewire to a mac, it doesn’t show up. The hard drive mounts onto the Ki pro and shows the files there, but not on a computer. Is there a way to get it working without having to reformat? I’d want to save the files that are currently on there.

  You should contact AJA Technical Support for assistance. Perhaps on that particular Storage Module there is an issue with the FireWire port. Or there is an issue with the FireWire port on your computer, or your FireWire cable, etc.

  You should contact support, but:

  Any other firewire devices on your system?

  Does it show up in the disk utility?

  Do other fw devices work on that computer?

  Have you restarted the computer?
