We plan to use Ki Pros this summer for a recurring multi-cam shoot. We will be working with 10 units, and we are looking into a traveling case. Actually more likely two cases, 5 and 5. While I know that there is no rack mount available currently, has anyone out there built a set-up with multiple units? Something that rolls in and you take the front and back covers off without having to pull all the units out of a case and set them on a table???
    Thanks…

    I have designed a couple.

what’s wrong with the mount points on the units themselves?

Hopefully nothing wrong with that, I just don’t have the actual units yet and haven’t had the chance to look at one in “real life” so it’s good to know there are ways to at least attach them to rack shelves… I was looking for input from someone that has already built one or to see if any companies were selling already built travel boxes.
How much physical space needs to be there between units to easily change out drives? and how much heat do the units generate, in other words how much air space should there be between units?

    thanks; jeff c.

I’ve not seen these in person, but they might work for you.
