  HOW DO I EDIT DV?

  Hello, anyone out there?

  How do I get DV into my PC?

  What must I do with it in order to edit on the Xena HD?

  I’m not sure I understand. Do you want to edit it as uncompressed or something of that nature? You’d have to bring it in from a DV deck with SDI on it, or use a converter like the Convergent Design SD Connect box to change the DV into SDI, or if the Xena card you have has analog, you could also bring it in that way.

  Otherwise, you could ingest using plain old FW I suppose and simply put it on the timeline with the uncompressed (or whatever) settings and render it if there wasn’t a huge amount of footage…
