  360 Video – Polar Coordinates

  Hello! I’m trying to achieve a similar effect to this video:

  I’m using a similar lens adapter, which will capture a 360 degree shot. Then placed in After effects, stabilized the shot, centered the image, then used the polar coordinates effect. This results in an image looking like this:

  

  It’s an awful example, but I’m only experimenting at the moment.

  If you look at the initial video the whole thing pans occasionally? I found a way of doing this but rotating the initial spherical video, but this seems to result in a very wobbly looking rotation.

  I suppose what I’m asking is, what is needed to perfectly achieve this effect?
  Has anyone else used this effect?
