  IO Express for the new iMac

  Hi Masters,

  Im a newbie in this, still learning. Just a quick question, is there ANY, ANY way/workaround where i can still hook up our IO Express to the new iMac 27′? I know that we’re dealing with thunderbolt connections here, so the options should be the IO XT or BMD Ultrastudio Express, etc. Just wondering…

  You’ll need an adapter. And this one says it addresses the specific needs of IO devices, like the IO Express. But you’ll also have to get the Express34 connector for the IO.

  Thanks Shane. Our workstation are all running under IO Express. The thing is one workstation will be replaced by new iMac 27′. So we’re looking for a workaround where we can still use our IO Express instead of buying a new IO box. (can save a lot)
