  No After Effects preview via AJA IO Express

  Hi,

  Did anybody have problems getting the preview out from After Effects CS5 to the preview monitor via the AJA IO Express?

  I installed the latest IO express driver (8.1.2) and the AJA adobe plugins (8.5.0). The IO Express works well with Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro but not After Effects.

  Under the After Effects preferences, I am able to select the output device as AJA. But there is still no output. There is nothing selectable from the output mode.

  Please advice if you have solutions to this problem.

  You might want to contact AJA Technical Support for assistance configuring your AJA Io Express for use with Adobe After Effects. They can be reached via phone or email Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm PST.

  Hi,

  1) You must install the AJA Adobe AE plug-ins because there is no AE (preferences) video preview setting for the Io Express.

  2) Again no AE video preview setting. Use AE menu bar -> Window -> AJA preview instead.
