AJA io IN STOCK
Does anybody know which dealers stock AJA Io Express ? Most I am finding drop ship from AJA and that take s2-4 week ?

I have been told by 3 vendors that AJA Express IO is on indefinite backorder. Meaning AJA and AVID promoted a product that would appear not to exist yet.

The Io Express has been shipping for quite some time; the product was launched at NAB 2009. I believe you are having trouble locating a unit for sale simply due to the increased demand for the product.

I ordered an AJA IO Express from my dealer 3-1/2 weeks ago.
I hope the 2 to 4 week time frame has some truth to it.
I’ll post back when I get it.

I did a search of every Web site I could find that carried the AJA line. Not one had the IO in stock. Some described the backorder period as indefinite. I think it’s time for AVID to open up to some other manufactures who have similar IO boxes like Matrox. Or even other boxes in the AJA line. Somebody is doing a very poor job of managing this rollout.

I did receive my IO express, about 33 days after ordering.
