  Resolution Issues over the AJA ioHD

  Not sure what this will cause it since it just appeared one day, but maybe somebody already had this issue and found a fix!

  The problem is when a tape is captured over the AJA ioHD with the Panasonic AJ-HD1400 the footage or clips have a black boarder around the footage.

  When imported into Final Cut the black is transparent.
  No matter if we use AJA IoHD 525 29.97 ProRes 422 or the standard DV NTSC format.

  Andree,
  I would recommend that you contact AJA technical support for assistance. You mention using the Panasonic AJ-HD1400 VTR which is an HD device that could be configured to output SD, so perhaps it\’s a simply a setting on the VTR that needs to be addressed.
