I recently attemped to port over from fusion and shake, a technicolor CMYK project and was wondering
if anyone knew a better way how to get the spot/plates from the secondary subtractive colors Cyan, magenta, and yellow. I used saturation instead of plates to isolate the secondary colors. Is there a better way because AE’s normal screen automatically adds the black-K to layers.

Here’s a file that reconstructs technicolor from any dv source.
