  If I use my IOHD to capture HDSDI, can I beat deinterlacing by selecting Pro Res HQ 1080P to get real time deinterlacing?

  If you shot 1080i? No.

  How about capturing Psf? I don’t know much about that or it’s benefit.

  Nope. If you hsot P or PsF you can capture those formats. If you shot 1080i, you need to cpature as 1080i and then deinterlace later.
