  QT playout only form IoHD

  I’d like to playout QT files through my IoHD. Is this what AJA TV is for?

  If so how does it work, opening it and the IoHD control panel, then playing a QT in QT player doesn’t work for me.

  Is there any documentation for AJA TV, I can’t find any on the AJA site?

  AJA TV only works with supported codecs. If it’s HD material, ProRes or PRHQ is best.

  Ahh! that explains it I only tested SD mDV codec.

  I presume the SD prores codecs are supported, I’ll test when I get the next opportunity.

  dv25 should playout just fine.

  It wouldn’t do this for me Jeremy.

  Problem is I don’t know what I’m doing with the software. I run AjaTV with the Aja contol panel open, double click a dv25QT which plays fine on the MBP screen, but nothing out of the IoHD.

  Everything else in the IoHD seems to be working normally.

  AJA TV should be selected. not the control panel. SImply right click on your file (if it is in fact a dv 25 file) and choose open with -> AJATV. Then hit play. It sounds like you are trying to play out of Quicktime if you are double clicking the file. You need to open it within the AJA TV application.
