  Will IOHD work with FCP 5.1?

  I know ProRes is only in Studio 2, but will I be able to use IOHD for native DVCProHD capture / outputs to a deck?

  I realize that FCP 5.1.4 has issues with capturing using the AJA io hd. But what about just using the box to SEE my hd footage I’ve already got in my timeline.

  I got the AJA io HD to color correct my first feature. I’m on tech support with AJA right now to determine if there’s a workaround for io HD and FCP 5.1.4 –

  Are you saying there’s no way to see my footage in the timeline using this configuration?

  The ioHD is made for Final Cut Studio 2 as it sends ProRes back and forth to/from the unit.

  ProRes is a Final Cut Studio 2 invention.
