WHERE IS THE i/O HD?
It’s August 2nd. Did July 31st go by?……..where is it?

while you were seeking grapes, AJA announced that the I/O HD has been discontinued, and will be replaced immediately by the I/O 4K. Sony has also announced that they will discontinue all HD products, in leu of their new 4K line of hard disk recorders.
If you are very very good, however, you may get your I/O HD now before Sept 1st, 2007.

The Australian supplier is waiting on a new release date. They expect more info on wednesday next week.

I just received an email from AJA Inside Sales in response to my questions on availability of the IoHD. Here’s what they said:
“Yes, we are very close to shipping and we were hoping for the end of July
shipments to begin but we are running behind so the new date is the end of
August. There is a huge backlog so depending upon when your reseller placed
the order will determine when it will [ship] once the shipping begins. Too
difficult to tell at this point until we actually start shipments.”It looks like even if all goes well at AJA, at least another month wait my friends.
