  Kona 2

  Does the Kona 2 work with ProRes? Searched but didn’t find anything.

  Capturing ProRes in HD requires a G5 quad or intel Xeon MacPro. Since both of those computers are PCIe, A Kona2 will not work in them, you must have a Kona3.

  Even if you have a g5 uncomrpessed footage can be captured then transcoded into Prores as well

  also you will need to download the newest Kona2 software and drivers to utilize ProRes at all
