  Anyone know how to get the audio from Soundtrack Pro through the io? Baffling!

  You can’t unfortunately. There’s some technical issues that prevent AJA for supporting this much requested capability (unless something has changed since I spoke with them last).

  It only works if you’ve imported a video clip. If you’re just working on a sound file it doesn’t work.
