    Hi Everyone,

    i’m hopeing to create text within a video!!, here’s a sample of what i’m hopeing to do:

    it’s a video of a lambourghini with text floating around within the video, if u could give me advice or leave links to tutorials that would b a great help, thanks for your time and help.

    I’m new to this posting in forums and was hopeing that someone could help me out please, thanks.

    Jason –

    This looks to be one of the basic text animation presets within After Effects, with a soft drop shadow applied to it. I think the preset is under Animation Presets/Text/Animate In, and then it’s something like “Decode” for the name of the preset.

    Are you in reference to the text that locks to the people as the car goes by?

    I’ve not personally done this so I can only tell you how I would go about it. I would start by tracking the individual and then use that info to move your text. Then, convert your text layer to 3D and rotate it in 3D space to match the movement of the shot.

    There are many tutorials on tracking in the COW library. It make take some time and tweaking, but its a fairly simple effect.
