  Video card advice

  I have a 2006-era JVC reference monitor. It only has HD/ SD SDI inputs. I need it hooked to a 2015-model Mac Pro running Yosemite. What video card should I use?
  Before, we had the current Mac Pro, we had a 2010-era Mac Pro running Snow Leopard. Between the older Mac Pro and the monitor were an AJA K3 box and an HD/SD Sync Generator.
  Any ideas for what should bridge the gap?

  What programs are you running? There is the AJA Io 4K thunderbolt box which is basically a Kona 4 in a thunderbolt box.

  The K3 you had was hooked up to a Kona 3 card. They stopped developing this card. It will still work with the older drivers for Yosemite but there is no further development for newer NLEs.
