  Capturing as XDCAM HD422 (50MB cbr)

  I have an xdcam workflow for capturing tape to xdcam. I had it working but now it is giving me fits. It is dropping frames after about 8 minutes which cause the audio to drift out of sync. Using VTR xchange to do the capturing. Some times it reports dropped frames after the capture stops sometimes not. Every now and then it stops the capture but every file has the issue.

  I’m using a 12-core Mac pro 32 gb of memory. I have been on snow leopard. I’m insteading lion and will try that.

  Just need to know if anyone is able to get clean xdcam hd422 captures.
