Which OS?
I have 6 systems all Mac Kona based. We are all Leopard. I have installed Snow Leopard in new drives and have loaded Adobe CS 5.5 Production Premium on all of them. I also have loaded FCS3 on all of them.
Is Snow Leopard the best OS right now? Is Lion more stable with the latest OS updates and Kona drivers?
I’ve had a few random networking issues with the Snow Leopard installs that we did not have with Leopard. Not trusting Snow Leopard to jump all in yet….still working on our Leopard Drives.
Thoughts?

Nobody I know is running Lion in production. We are not in any hurry to install Lion here. We’re running Snow Leopard on all our Kona systems and even every single computer I own. Even my personal computers still running SL.

I will put up the new system Lion on a clean install with FCPX, Production suite 5.5, new compressor and motion.
The SL drive with FCP7 will be working untouched.
Next week I’ll know more.
In the current working process FCS3 including all third party plugins run pretty stable. So I stick with Walter – never change a running system! At the present moment there is no need for a big change.Rainer
