  video image distorted

  Im getting this weird issue with my aja kona card. I have it hooked up to a BETA UVW-1800 deck. I have the ability to import and export through the card via RGB, however if the cables for both the input and output are connected, my image jumps around. I noticed it when I tried to capture from the BETA deck. If I take out the cables attached to the output, then the image stops jumping. Any suggestions?

  is your deck in e-e mode? If so, take it out to stop the feedback loop.
